some cloud cover and a gentle breeze made it perfect conditions for our Sunday Madness session!
we welcome back Steven the Titan also known as Flip and a special mention this week for Zaid,
who managed to complete our workout whilst fasting! and watching the rest of us chug down Isotonics throughout the session, so well done to him.
same set up as last week 2 circuits 7 stations 20/20 intervals 3 rounds at each station,
- Bench vault
- KB swing
- Med ball pushup
- heavy rope drills
- Power wheel rollouts
- Agility ladder drills
- Med ball slams
This week we included kb Snatches, Cleans, waiter & racked carries plus Squats to break up the circuits,
everyone did great and worked at a good pace, you can see the improvement in individuals from week to week, my own personal fitness has improved a massive amount since including regular conditioning sessions into my program, and as everyone knows I detest cardio so this has been a great way for me to lose fat and get my heart and lungs working hard, this type of training also has great recuperative benefits and helps with your GPP (general physical preparedness) plus it also helps you to get outside and have fun with other sick individuals!
I find myself agreeing with the Thing these days to reduce rest periods! now either I'm getting fitter or my fragile mental state is deteriorating further and I'm becoming as evil as him! either way it feels good.
