The Monster making machine
So we are on a roll! nice easy ramp up for the last couple of weeks,
due to popular demand it's time to step it up!
As a trainer there is something truly full filling when someone who has been training with you asks "can we do more" or "can we go again"
you are always aiming for the workouts to be safe but effective,
rarely pushing individuals to their limits, especially when dealing with the general population or average recreational trainee,
that is why it is so much more gratifying when this type of client wants to push it!
not because of a sport or upcoming game, no trophy to be won no recognition other than the fact of knowing for themselves that they worked that much harder! knowing that previously they couldn't do it but now they can! and soon they will be able to do more!
all it takes is consistency, a little focus and the realization that you are doing something good for yourself and that your limits are your competition!
One of my favorite things about Sunday Madness is seeing people who previously may not have trained that much, or have been less active for a while really have fun and enjoy pushing their limits a little.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing regular folks turn into MONSTERS! I'm not talking about huge hulking muscular monsters, although I would like to see that if that's what they want, I'm talking about mental monsters who refuse to be held back by their limits, people who not only develop their fitness strength and physiques but the will power to get there and strive to keep moving forward, the ones who realize that this is not just for a few months then I'll go back to my old lifestyle, this is my lifestyle! this is now part of who I am and always will be.
If your gonna be a bear be a GRIZZLY!
I've always liked this saying, basically it means don't half ass stuff! if your going to do it commit, put in the effort to really achieve what you have set out to achieve.
